The people of Glaisdale certainly like to party and the Robinson Institute offers the perfect venue for musical performances of all types.
Over the years, the Robinson Institute has played host to musical genres of all types, from community choirs and string quartets to rock groups and Desert Island Discs.
The stage offers ample space for musical performers to set up their instruments, while the hall can comfortably accommodate 176 people standing, or 100 seated.
Of course, if you’re planning to bring the beat, you’ll have to remember to leave plenty of room as the wooden floor throughout makes the perfect space for dancing.

For catered events, the large professional kitchen offers plenty of room to prepare a sumptuous meal, while a large room at the rear of the hall provides the perfect location for a bar, complete with its own power supply, sink and worktop.
The village of Glaisdale is located just 10 miles to the west of Whitby, and performances at the Robinson Institute attract visitors both from the town itself and the North York Moors villages along the Esk Valley.
